Lingwood Security Management Awarded 12-month Extension on Govia Thameslink Railway Contract
Following the award of the Govia Thameslink Railway contract in July, we are delighted to announce that, due to our outstanding service and the results that have been delivered to our client, a further 12 month extension has been presented to us.
Based on statistics from October, from working collaboratively with GTR Rail Enforcement teams, British Transport Police, Station Staff and Management, we have seen an overall reduction of physical assaults by 71% and antisocial behaviour has also been reduced by 52%. November statistics have also shown some great results with all reported assaults and ASB along the West Coast reduced by 69% compared with the same month in the previous year.

Over the last 6 months our Management, Supervisory Team and Travel Safety Officers have been working tirelessly to provide the public with assurance that when they travel, they do so with confidence and security. Our Team is dedicated to assisting the public and ensuring everyone travels safely and arrives at their destination without incident.
Dealing with a wide range of incidents, from suicidal individuals and antisocial behaviour to thefts and fare evasion, our Officers have dealt with each situation professionally and had a positive influence on stations with their visibility and willingness to help. Station Managers from the Worthing and Brighton areas especially have expressed how extremely happy they are with the results that our team are delivering, and this is now rewarded by the extension of our contract.
We are looking forward to the next 12 months and hope to continue our work together for many years to come.
