Jaymie Davies
Contracts Manager
My job seems to be everything lol contract manager involved with projects from inception to completion, client liaison, set up, training, auditing.
Day to day will vary as different aspects and challenges to all contracts.
I travel a lot to sites and meetings and always talking on the phone, getting information and resolving issues as quickly as possible
How did you first get involved with Lingwood Security Management?
After moving “ up north” I was looking to return to the Security sector and when I saw the advert for Lingwood, it caught my eye. So I went for it!
What was your first impression of Lingwood Security Management?
My first impression was how friendly the whole office-based team were when I was introduced to them on my interview.
What’s your first memory of working at Lingwood Security Management?
On my induction going out to site with Kevin, took me to Burrow and thinking I’ve never travelled so far to go to where I could see before I left.
What has surprised you most about working at Lingwood Security Management?
The diversity of industries we have contracts for and the amount of interesting things I’ve learnt about other industries from being on these site.
What do you find most challenging about your work?
Client changes on short notice, but upside is it challenges my thinking to resolve.
What’s the best/worst thing to happen since you started working at Lingwood Security Management?
Best: getting to visit places that I would never have seen if we didn’t have a contract there
Worst: challenge of finding a new site with minimal location information.
What interesting characters have you worked with at Lingwood Security Management?
Too many to mention and probably for the wrong reasons, but the opportunity to interact with high raking professionals has been amazing.
What do you think will change at Lingwood Security Management over the next five years, or in the industry as a whole?
I believe that if Lingwood carry on with their ambition that the company will expand exponentially.
If you weren’t working at Lingwood Security Management, what would you be doing instead, or what would your life be like?
Unrealistically married to billionaire and lazing on a beach for life, realistically working for a different company, those bills wont pay themselves.
How would someone describe you?
I have been described as a “gobs***” never shuts up but always smells nice. I’ll take it it’s true.
What do you do when you aren’t working?
When it happens, I’ll get back to you.
