Supply Chain Sustainability School

Lingwood Security Management are delighted to be awarded Bronze status by Supply Chain Sustainability School, recognising our commitment to actively engage with sustainability best practise and the progress we have made since joining the school.

Supply Chain Sustainability SchoolThe Supply Chain Sustainability School is a collaboration between over 70 of the largest construction clients and contractors. The remit of the school is to provide a virtual learning environment to help suppliers and sub-contractors develop their sustainability knowledge and competence.

By engaging with the School, Lingwood Security Management are able to demonstrate our current knowledge of health and safety, the environment and sustainability, through a series of assessments that are conducted on an ongoing basis. Self-assessment is a critical part of the process, and as a firm who invests time and resources into staff training in all of these areas, it allows us to demonstrate our competence in the supply chain.

The School is also an excellent source of materials through which to gain further knowledge, enabling our staff to log onto a secure portal and continue their own professional development.

Speaking following the Bronze Award, Summer Jenkins, CRM Manager, said: “I’m really pleased that we have now progressed to Bronze status. The School is a great resource and is yet another means of demonstrating our supply chain competence to potential and existing clients. I am now busy focusing on the next step, our Silver Award!”
